Emma-Leigh & Steve threw the party of the year at Glenworth Valley and I was lucky enough to be there as well. Both Bride & Groom were surrounded by family as they prepared to meet at the stunning Lookout at Glenworth Valley to exchange rings and promises.
Guests sipped champagne and mingled as they waited for the Bride’s arrival. Emma-Leigh was a vision in her custom gown as she walked toward her love to a live performance of Seasons of Love, courtesy of her sister Heather. Steve proceeded to de-robe Monty who was then, ironically, the most appropriately dressed person at the wedding on account of the sudden and brutal rain that enveloped us. Huge props to the guests who neither ran nor cried but continued to endure the conditions in the name of love (Emma-Leigh remained poised and gorgeous throughout).
Monty guided the ceremony perfectly as though nothing was untoward and very soon the skies cleared and Emma-Leigh & Steve were husband and wife! Guests proceeded to the reception centre for drinks and canapés while the newlyweds posed for some dreamy photos and eventually we were able to watch the running of the horses. The earlier rain created an unreal fog and it felt much like a movie to be with these two.
Emma-Leigh & Steve, thank you so much for allowing me to photograph you on your special day. It was truly sublime!
