Central Coast Wedding Photographer Styled Shoot

I did a thing. I had an idea, and it kind of grew, and my friend Alicia encouraged me to go for it, so we did. I asked more friends to help, they said yes. I asked some people I didn’t know well, they also said yes. It was kind of amazing, and I’m so grateful to everyone who put time and energy into this shoot.

The concept was based on the character of Ariel from Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’. Ariel is a powerful spirit trapped by a captor, forced to conjure incredible storms and other events for her captor’s benefit. I took some creative liberties and interpreted the character as a beautiful soul, in love with her captor and waiting for the day when he abandons dreams of shipwrecking men and instead chooses to love her for eternity on the island she lives.

I wanted to create magic and I couldn’t have done that without all of the magical people who helped. Thank you forever for letting me have a play!
